New Year...not really a new me!

I hope that 2009 brings much success your way! I am sitting here thinking about what to wear for this new year's party this evening. I decided to go to indulj. The cost is $40 and they have open bar from 9 pm - midnight! Not bad! Last year around this time, I was partying with the NJ Nets! Good times! I laughed! I cried! Ahhh...what a wonderful way to bring in 2008!

I remember writing down a list of things that I hope to accomplish in 2008. Ask me how much of it I actually accomplished. Absolutely NADA! So I decided to go ahead and just do things I know I can accomplish! I'm honestly sick and tired of people using the new year to change their lives. The way I look at it...the moment you realize your life is heading on the wrong path, you should change it right then and there! So that's what I'm going to do!

NYE Plans

I have absolutely NO CLUE what I'm going to do for New Years Eve! I prefer to do so something chill.

I'm not interested in spending $100 to get into a stuffy club with a bunch of people I don't know. I would love to go to a house party...or some type of event like that. I guess I'll have to keep my eyes open.

To all my single ladies... please, please, please... stop it with the Beyonce movement! As much as I love Beyonce, I am not one that takes her songs literally!

Men are going to run away once they hear you start repeating those infamous words... If you like it, then you should've put a ring on it! We all know most men are scared of commitment! That's a given! But when you stress the importance of being engaged/married/etc., do you really think that's going to keep them around much longer? I highly doubt that!

They will eventually come around... Beyonce has her man, so please note that You Are Not Beyonce!!

25 days until the BIG 2-4!

It feels like just the other day I was turning "sweet" sixteen. And yes... I was sweet...Thank you very much!

As I count the candles on my imaginary cake each year...I just smile and thank God for allowing me to live another year in good health!

I could write a list of things that I would love for my birthday (and I probably will), but the reality is, I probably won't get 90% of the things that I list. And that's all fine and dandy! All I really want is a chance to be here another year with the people that I love and care for.

So let the countdown begin...
